Fourth of July!!!

THE FOURTH OF JULY IS COMING SOON!

We know it’s gonna be hot!!! Don’t worry, we will have plenty of water for the Parade and at the Bell Ringing and we are moving the bell ringing and picnic inside where it should be nice and cool!!!

Join us for the Whitemarsh Township 4th of July Parade and for our Bell Ringing on the 4th of July! On July 4, 2026 the Township Parade will begin at the church in the morning followed by St. Peter’s re-creating the first reading of the Declaration of Independence in front of the church, following the traditional ringing of the church bell at 2 p.m. The French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, written by the Marquis de Lafayette will also be read. Everyone is invited to attend one or both events!

We hope that you can join us for a day of Faith, Fellowship and Celebrating Freedom.

Parade - Meet at the church around 8 AM. Walk with the truck and hand out ice pops to the kids.

Bell Ringing & Readings - We will be ringing the bells at 2 PM followed by 2 readings

Picnic - Following the Bell Ringing and Readings, we will have a picnic on the Chapel. (Hooray for air-conditioning!!!)

If you have any questions regarding the parade please contact Matt Clark and if you have any questions regarding the bell ringing please contact John Shiffert.
