Join Us for Holy Week 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church

As the season of reflection and renewal approaches, St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, warmly invites you, your family, and friends to join us in observing the solemn and joyous occasions of Holy Week 2024.

This special week offers a spiritual journey from the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, through the reflective moments of Maundy Thursday and the solemnity of Good Friday, culminating in the glorious celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday

When: March 24 at 10 a.m.

Service: Blessing of the Palms, Favorite Hymn “The Palms” is sung.

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt following the service.

Maundy Thursday

When: March 28 at 7 p.m.

Service: Stripping of the Altar.

Good Friday

When: March 29 at 7 p.m.

Service: Tenebrae Service

Easter Sunday

When: March 31 at 10 a.m.

Service: Christ is Risen! The Resurrection of our Lord.
