PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

Look at all the talent from our congregation! More handmade gifts from our members for Hope Lodge’s holiday dinner. Chad Mothard donated these beautiful clouds/sky paintings. A mother and daughter quickly snagged these and were most appreciative! Then, our Prayer Shawl member had students in her class color winter scenes and include tea bags to chase the cold away! So many compliments as guests chose which ones they wanted. A HUGE thank you to Prayer Shawl members who were able to participate as well as members of our congregation who donated their talents!!

Hope Lodge Dinner and Cookie Exchange - December 18th

Hope Lodge Dinner and Cookie Exchange - December 18th

We are getting very excited for our annual Hope Lodge Christmas Dinner that is coming up on December 18th! The Sign Up Genius is live, and we’d love your help to make this event truly memorable for the guests.

How you can help:

  • We still need a few key items: turkeys, hams, roasted vegetables, cutlery, sparkling water—and most importantly, enthusiastic volunteers!

  • Next Sunday, we’ll be collecting cookies for the cookie exchange at the Hope Lodge. If you love to bake (or just love cookies), please join in!

  • There are steam pans with lids and cookie containers available in the Narthex for your convenience.

Drop-off Details:

  • Matt will be in the parking lot on Wednesday, December 17th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM and again on Thursday, December 18th from 3 PM – 4 PM to collect food and cookies.

  • Need a ride? Matt can drive up to three volunteers and will be leaving at 4 PM on the 18th.

Gifts:

  • We are collecting Christmas gifts for the guests. The prayer shawl ministry has been working hard. We also have bracelets, headbands and paintings that were made by members of the church. If you are not into making anything, the guests would also like Uber and Starbucks gift cards. The goal is to have 2 tables of gifts for the guests. If you have your gifts, please give them to Joann

Thank you all for your generosity and Christmas spirit. Together, we can make this a wonderful evening for everyone at Hope Lodge!
