We had another great weekend at St. Peter’s – here’s a quick recap of all the happenings in case you missed anything…
This Saturday we welcomed Celestia Performing Arts Association, Inc. to St. Peter’s to share their “Let Us Entertain You” program under the direction of Mr. Alex Ramirez. Thank you to all the performers for sharing your musical gifts with our community and thank you to everyone who attended! Celestia is a non-profit corporation existing to provide wholesome entertainment in our community. Your tax-deductible donations are invested back into Celestia, and thus, directly support the arts in our region. Donations are gratefully accepted but the concert is free for all to attend. If you have any questions please contact Joan Kober (215-628-2426) or Barbara Millar (215-672-4617) and you can follow the group on Facebook at Celestia Arts.
Sunday morning was Spirit filled worship full of grace and the Good News of Jesus Christ! Did you miss Pastor Todd’s sermon on patience? Well you don’t need to be patient to hear it, you can listen to it right now, just click here or go to the “Hear the Good News” menu tab to hear any past sermons!
Following worship we had rehearsal for our upcoming Christmas Pageant which is next Sunday, December 18th during the 10am worship service. Join us next Sunday to hear our children share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all of us! Rehearsal was fantastic as our children told the story of the birth of Jesus, sang songs, wore costumes, and afterwards enjoyed pizza and cupcakes. Thanks to Kathy Reed for the AMAZING cupcakes and to Carol, Buffy, and all the parents who helped organize rehearsal and lead the kids!!! If your child missed the rehearsal don’t worry they can still be a part of the Christmas pageant – children are asked to be at church by 9:20am Sunday to get into costumes and ready for the pageant. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Suloff at email@example.com.
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry Sale was Sunday and $250 was raised for Artman Home to purchase gifts for residents who are alone for the holidays! A huge thank you to our Prayer Shawl Ministry Team, all those who made items to sell, and to all those who supported the sale!
The Boar’s Head Festival is coming soon and you can order tickets right here on the website! The Boar’s Head festival is a huge endeavor at St. Peter’s to share the life, love, and joy of Jesus Christ with others and it is a tremendously meaningful event for those who attend and for those who participate in the program. You can read our own David Littlejohn’s reflections on why participating in the Boar’s Head festival is so meaningful right here.
