What a great day we had at Vacation Bible School today! We did crafts, we played games, we sang songs, we made new friends – we all truly splashed and lived in God’s Word and God’s love today. We heard the story of Noah’s Ark from the book of Genesis and we learned that God promised, and still promises, to love us always and no matter what, we are loved because God keeps promises always and we are reminded of that whenever we see a rainbow in the sky, just like Noah.
Tomorrow we are going to hear the story of Jonah and the Big Fish and we are going to learn about how God’s love and imagination are so much larger than ours and how God always gives us chances to tell the good news. What a great day it will be to hear of God’s love!
Don’t forget to send a white or plain t-shirt along for decorating and if you aren’t able to send one just let Pastor Suloff, Mrs. Graham, or the church office know and we’ll figure it out.
Thanks to everyone who brought in snacks today – all the kids loved snack time (and everything else)!
Thanks to all of our amazing volunteers and all the work that they do helping our kids hear and know and learn and splash in God’s Word!
Mrs. Graham has posted a bunch of pictures from today on the Nursery School Facebook page, if you’d like to see them and aren’t already following the page just send a request.
Thanks to everyone – kids, leaders, shepherds, helpers, parents, and everyone – for making our first day so much fun!!! We’ll see you in the morning!!!
