Hey Eveyone, Look Here! September 7th Edition

Happy Thursday St. Peter’s! There is a whole bunch of stuff coming up here at church so let’s get right to it…
1.      The September Newsletter is now available on the church website – there are a number of things coming up throughout September and beyond so please give it a read by clicking here!
2.      Choir rehearsals begin Thursday, September 7th (that’s today!). Bell Choir rehearsal will begin at 6:30pm. At 7pm there will be a time of fellowship and ice cream for both choirs. At 7:30pm Adult Choir rehearsal will begin. The Children’s Choir will begin rehearsing following worship this Sunday. The Choirs are always seeking new members and you don’t need to be a professional musician to join – just a willingness to make a joyful noise and a desire to proclaim the Good News through music. If you have any questions or are interested in joining a choir please contact Carol Evans.
3.      Our regular Sunday School program begins this Sunday, September 10th. We will have 3 classes – one for PreK/Kindergarten, one for 1st-3rd Grades, and one for 4th-6th Grades. Our curriculum is based on the same lessons as we use during the services. We are also still looking for additional teachers – we only ask our teachers to lead once a month, the curriculum is very easy to use, and teaching experience is not required – just a passion to help our children learn to share the life, love, and joy of Jesus Christ with others! If you have any questions or are interested in helping with our Sunday School programs please contact Pastor Suloff.
4.      We are having a Church Picnic this Sunday, September 10th following the 10am worship service. Join us for a time of fellowship and fun out by the Gazebo next to the church parking lot. We’ll be grilling hot dogs and sharing whatever other food folks wish to bring! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, bring a bag of chips or some potato salad, and join us for a relaxing lunch before you head home for kickoff. We are looking for a few folks to bring coolers, ice, and drinks so if you are able, or if you have any questions about the picnic, please contact the Church Office.

Well, we think that covers everything for now and we can’t wait to see you all at rehearsals, worship, and the picnic! Be sure to check back soon as there will be a number of updates, more posts, and more information on the website soon!
