Hey Everyone, Look Here! January 19th Edition

Dear Everyone,
We hope that this post finds you well! There are a number of important upcoming events and activities here at St. Peter’s so we wanted to give you all this reminder of what’s coming up…

One of our members, Danielle Gardner, is trying to put a group together to see the upcoming new movie The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, this Friday evening. More information, including the movie trailer, can be found in the post “Church Movie Trip”. If you have questions or would like to go to the movie please contact Danielle at dtgardner73@yahoo.com.

St. Peter’s Annual Blood Drive with the Red Cross will be on Saturday, January 21st from 8am to 1pm – for more information please contact the church office. You can contact the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment or you can simply come on Saturday to donate. You can find more information about the Red Cross at redcrossblood.org.

Picture Make-ups for our new church directory are swiftly approaching on Sunday, January 22nd but you can still sign up – simply click here or contact Carolyn Hanel!

Do you enjoy board games and card games? Join us on Saturday, January 28th from 3pm to 5pm for our first ever Family Game Day! We will provide games and light snacks and fun and prizes. Do you have a favorite board game—feel free to bring it along! All ages are welcome to join us for this fun filled afternoon. If you are interested in helping with this event or have any questions please contact Pastor Suloff and be sure to check the church website and bulletin for additional updates.

Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be on Sunday, January 29th following the 10am worship service. On the agenda we will be electing new council members, approving the 2017 operating budget, and discussing future ministries. If you would like to review the Annual Report and the proposed operating budget copies are available at the church or please contact the church office. We hope you will join us for this important day in the life of St. Peter’s.

We know you would like to sing in the Choir, but another night out, and the nasty winter weather keeps you from lifting your voice in musical praise. So – we’re doing something to make it Easier for you. Choir rehearsals are going to be on Sundaymornings following worship, during January & February. Take a few minutes after worship to get a cup of coffee and greet your church friends, then come join us at 11:15 for a condensed rehearsal. We are hoping this will make it easier on the present choir members, as well as make it possible for some new singers to join us. We hope that Includes YOU!

We have our annual Hoagie Sale coming up on February 5th to support our Children, Youth, and Family Ministries. This year we will be doing things a little different – we will not be taking orders but will instead be preparing a set amount of each type of hoagie that can be purchased following worship on the 5th. We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy a great hoagie and support our ministries as well!

Well, we think that covers everything at the moment but don’t forget to keep checking the church website for frequent updates and more information and don’t forget that you can subscribe to the website by entering your email address on the right side of the screen to receive notifications of new posts. We can’t wait to see you at St. Peter’s as we share the life, love, and joy of Jesus Christ with others together!
