Happy Friday St. Peter’s! We’ve got a few important announcements and reminders for you so let’s get right to it…
- This Sunday is Reformation Sunday and we will be celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation! Join us for worship at 8:30 and/or 10am as we gather together in song, praise, prayer, and thanksgiving for God’s grace, love, and mercy. The Bell Choir, Children’s Choir, and Adult Choir will all be sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through music at the 10am service. We will also be re-dedicating the newly repaired stained glass window in the rear of the sanctuary during worship. We hope that you can join us for a joy-filled and grace-filled day of worship!
- Following the 10am service is our annual Trunk or Treat! Come to church in your costumes, bring candy and decorations, and share in this wonderful time of fun and fellowship! Due to the weather forecast we will likely be holding Trunk or Treat in the Fellowship Hall instead of the parking lot but fear not, we will be having Trunk or Treat rain or shine! Tables will be set up around the Fellowship Hall so you can simply bring your candy and decorations in there and pretend they’re a trunk. It’s going to be a wonderful time of fun and we hope that many of you will join us in this great event for children and adults alike. If you have any questions about Trunk or Treat please contact Pastor Suloff.
- Signups for the annual Boar’s Head Festival are now in the chapel so sign up for your part now! Performances are held this year on Saturday, January 6th 1, 4 and 7pm and Sunday, January 7th 1 & 4 pm. If you think it’s too early to get excited for the Boar’s Head festival then you should check out this video that our own Danielle Gardner made: http://www.stpeterslafayettehill.org/boars-head-2018-video/
And while you are at the church website you can follow the link for Boar’s Head tickets and order your tickets online now!
We think that covers everything for now. We can’t wait to see you all on Sunday for our Reformation worship services and don’t forget your candy for the kids as together we share the life, love, and joy of Jesus Christ!
